Penbird Press LLC is now accepting submissions for our 3rd annual one act play festival.

The submission deadline is Sunday, Nov 30, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

The One Act Play Festival is scheduled for Sunday, June 13, 2026

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES​

• Playwrights may submit one piece for consideration.

• Playwrights must be a resident of Wisconsin

• Please limit your cast to a maximum of five actors

• Scripts with minimal set, costume, and prop requirements are preferred.

• We will not accept screenplays or musicals at this time.

• There is a $10 submission fee that will go towards the festival costs

• Cash Prizes to the writers of the 3 plays selected

Penbird Press LLC will publish the winning scripts. 

If you wish to submit a play for consideration, please email the script, a short bio of each writer, and your contact information (Name, address and email) to penbirdpress@gmail.com with "One Act Play Festival" in the subject line. Send your submission fee using Paypal at penbirdpress@gmail.com 

Playwrights accepted into the One Act Play Festival will be notified by April 1, 2026.
