Erin Hunsader

Erin Hunsader is an Author, Publisher, Playwright and Professor (Theatre, Screenwriting). Originally from Wisconsin, she moved to New York City to pursue her Master’s degree in musical theatre writing at Tisch School of the Arts (New York University). Her first book, Dorothy Never Got Down Like This is about her journey from the Midwest to Midtown and all of the detours in between. After her first book was published, Erin decided she wanted to dip her toe into the publishing waters, both to learn more about the publishing industry and also to help fellow Authors have more
creative control over their work. Through this exploration, Penbird Press LLC was born. Erin teaches publishing workshops online as well as helped authors develop podcasts and screenplays.
